About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Accountant role is responsible for providing end-to-end L1 support for Oracle E-Business Suite in modules like GL, SLA and FAH. The role involves troubleshooting functional and technical issues, supporting month-end and year-end close activities, supporting business users, and ensuring timely resolution of production problems across Oracle EBS Financial modules.


In this role, you will:

Production Support

  • Provide L1 support for Oracle EBS applications
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Execute SQL queries for data analysis and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for bug fixes, patches, and enhancements.
  • Configure/Support migration of GL configurations to Production instances after successful testing in Development and Test instances.
  • Manage GL Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support.

QA Support

  • Support weekly Enterprise Testing/Integrated System Testing
  • Support UAT testing for Quarterly/Monthly implementations etc.
  • Create Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Data to validate GL Big Fixes, Enhancements or configurations.

BA Support

  • Collaborate with LOBs, SORs and technical teams on new GL implementations, functionality enhancements, application updates and performance issues.
  • Convert business requirements into Functional Solution Document (FSD).
  • Document GL configurations (Oracle BR100).
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical team.
  • Provide functional inputs to the technical team on GL Functionality.
  • Investigate system configuration options when developing solutions to meet business requirements; develop strategies to use standard functionality to meet business needs whenever possible.


Required Qualifications:

  • BE/B-Tech degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • 6 – 8 Years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite(R12/R12.2.X) Strong Technical and Functional knowledge in General Ledger (GL) and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
  • Strong knowledge in configuring, managing and monitoring AOL components.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts. Also Experience with SQL (ability to write SQL queries with Medium to High complexity), ability to analyze data, debug code and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience in supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Experience in handling production support by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues within defined SLAs.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, presentation and collaboration with cross


Desired Qualifications:

  • B-Tech/BE/MCA/ M-Tech.
  • Accounting Knowledge especially in GL.
  • Certifications and Experience in oracle Fusion applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and frameworks.
  • Experience of working in Bank Financial Reconciliation tools


Job Expectations:

  • Work Hours: 1:30PM IST to 10:30PM IST (5 days | Mon to Fri).

  • Should be flexible during Month end, quarter end activities.
