In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Design and build low-latency, high-throughput trading platforms from the ground up, supporting demanding front-office and electronic trading workloads.
  • Architect and implement event-driven systems with a strong focus on performance, resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Lead the design of highly available and fault-tolerant solutions, ensuring rapid recovery and business continuity during production incidents.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across technologies including Java, Solace, Kafka, Coherence/GridGain, MongoDB, and OpenFin.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered and agentic solutions to improve business processes, engineering productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the post-trade lifecycle, covering both exchange-traded and OTC products across multiple asset classes.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and support of 24x6 and 24x7 trading platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate and leverage modern engineering toolsets and AI-assisted development platforms such as Devin, Claude Code, and other emerging technologies.
  • Lead and mentor globally distributed engineering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a high-performance culture.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, operations teams, and senior leadership to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
  • Strong strategic thinking and architectural decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with people and delivery leadership responsibilities.
