Here’s the Gist

As a technician in Defect Inspections, you will play a key part in yield of the power device manufacturing process. This position works closely with and supports the Defect/Yield Engineering team, and will have the opportunity to develop methods to monitor wafers using various measurement tools. Please note this position will work a compressed night shift (12 hour shift, 3 on-4 off-4 on-3 off).

The Day-to-Day:

• Dispositioning wafers based on defect scan data
• Classify defects based on known defect types
• Identify new defects observed in the line
• Using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot process issues in close collaboration with Engineering; Communicating regularly with Engineering and Operations
• Identifying areas of improvement and implementing modifications to the defect detection process

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

• AA degree in a technical field
• Ability to work with limited supervision and dependability
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Any clean room experience or semiconductor experience will be considered a plus
