A Senior Business Analyst is a facilitator who works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and define solutions. They act as a liaison between the business and the technical teams, ensuring that the final product aligns with business goals and delivers value.
What you’ll do:
- Gather and Analyze Requirements As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit and document business requirements. You will then translate these requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications for the development team.
- Manage Product Backlog You will assist the product owner in defining and prioritizing the product backlog. This includes creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing the backlog to ensure the team is working on the most valuable features.
- Facilitate Communication You will facilitate communication between the business and technical teams, ensuring that both sides have a clear understanding of the project's goals, scope, and progress. You will also resolve conflicts and ambiguities to keep the project on track.
- Conduct Quality Assurance You will perform data analysis and validation to ensure the data is accurate and consistent. You will also assist the quality assurance (QA) team in testing the developed features to ensure they meet the defined requirements.
- Host Daily Stand-up Meetings You will participate in daily stand-up meetings to understand the progress of the team and identify any potential roadblocks.
- Your Key Stakeholders for Engagement will be; Product Teams, Data Services Teams, Data Governance Teams, Affiliates
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in business analysis, with strong exposure to enterprise data and digital programs.
- Proven ability to lead requirement streams, mentor junior analysts, and influence solution direction.
- Expertise in requirement elicitation, documentation, and prioritization using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise data platforms (MDM, CRM, ERP, Data Lakes) and integration considerations.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills at executive and cross-functional levels.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and change management best practices
