We seek a Human Resources Associate (Global Mobility) in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office. The HR Associate will be play a role in coordinating the global mobility/immigration initiatives for our international workforce, including employment-based work authorization, business travel visas, and other work permits. This role may also assist with the relocation process for new hires and transfers. This position reports to a senior human resources leader and works in coordination with a global team.

What you'll do:

  • Delivers support to the Global Mobility team across ROW (non-US) locations through the following methods:
  • Executes processes and procedures to efficiently coordinate documentation required for visa and work authorization processing with candidates, employees, internal stakeholders, and outside counsel
  • Tracks immigration filings and case progress to ensure timely, accurate submissions and proactive follow-up across multiple jurisdictions
  • Supports compliance monitoring for business travelers, short-term assignments, etc.
  • Provides guidance and inputs for education and briefing sessions on visa stamping, consular appointments, travel readiness, and entry requirements
  • Drafts support letters, completes required forms, and gathers documentation for submission to immigration authorities
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for immigration status updates and general mobility-related inquiries for employees and stakeholders
  • Partners with internal travel coordinators and HR teams to develop and maintain a strong customer service model for business travelers and international assignees (inbound and outbound, excluding US)
  • Coordinates with external immigration providers and vendors to manage global visa processing, service level expectations, and compliance standards
  • Supports right-to-work verification processes and maintains accurate immigration records in accordance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
  • Assists with expatriate assignments, mobility-related compensation elements, and HR operations support as needed
  • Contributes to reporting, tracking metrics, audit preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the global mobility function
  • Completes other projects and initiatives as assigned

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; candidates with a BS or MS in HR, International Relations, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in human resources, global mobility, or an immigration-related role involving business visitor visas, employment-based work authorization, and permanent residence processes across multiple jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of Argentina, Europe, UK, and APAC immigration procedures (non-US focus required)
  • Familiarity with right-to-work compliance, document retention requirements, and evolving post-pandemic/global mobility regulations
  • Understanding of remote work implications and short-term business travel compliance considerations
  • Experience working with external immigration counsel and/or global mobility vendors across multiple countries
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent cases across jurisdictions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with multiple levels of the organization across global time zones
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented global mobility function
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and sometimes sensitive environment
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive personal data in compliance with applicable data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR and local data protection laws)
  • Experience working in a multinational or professional services environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with case management systems or mobility tracking tools preferre
  • Fluency in English
