Senior Human Resources Associate - Talent Acquisition

We're looking for a recruiter who's equal parts strategist and hunter — someone who thrives on cracking tough searches and building relationships that move the needle. As part of ZS's In-Market Talent Acquisition team, you'll own the full lifecycle for deeply technical and expertise-driven roles across North America — think AI, advanced analytics, life sciences consulting, and engineering. These aren't easy fills. They require market intelligence, creative sourcing, and the ability to tell ZS's story to passive talent who've never heard of us — or think they're not looking.

What you’ll do

  • Own specialty searches end-to-end — from intake and sourcing strategy through offer close — for roles spanning consulting, technology, and practice-specific functions. You'll have real ownership and direct access to senior stakeholders — this isn't a "post and pray" shop
  • Source with purpose — go beyond LinkedIn InMails. Use Boolean, X-ray, competitor mapping, referral networks, and community engagement to build pipelines in tight talent markets
  • Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers — challenge assumptions on candidate profiles, bring market data to calibration conversations, and drive accountability on both sides
  • Problem-solve in real time — when a search stalls, diagnose why. Is it the profile? The process? The market? Bring solutions to the table, not just status updates. Reframe constraints, propose creative alternatives, and know when to pivot vs. push through
  • Coordinate a seamless candidate experience — manage resume review, interview scheduling, and stakeholder alignment across multiple offices and time zones
  • Use data to drive decisions — track pipeline metrics, analyze conversion rates, and translate recruiting data into insights that shape strategy — not just reports that sit in inboxes
  • Collaborate across a high-performing TA team — share talent, swap intel, contribute to sourcing playbooks, and help build a culture where we make each other better. You'll be part of a team that runs on weekly/biweekly operating rhythms, data-driven pipeline reviews, and a shared playbook that holds everyone accountable through scorecard metrics
What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years in full-lifecycle recruiting, ideally in professional services, consulting, tech, or life sciences — you've hired hard-to-find people before and can prove it
  • Sourcing as a craft, not a checkbox — you have a toolkit (Boolean, X-ray, GitHub, niche communities, competitor intelligence) and you know when to use what
  • Business curiosity — you want to understand why a role exists, how it fits the business, and what "great" actually looks like — not just fill a spec
  • Stakeholder fluency — you're equally comfortable pushing back on hiring managers' unrealistic profile as you are prepping a first-time interviewer. You adjust tone, not standards
  • A problem-solving mindset — you don't just flag issues, you come with options. When a search isn't working, you're already thinking about what to try next
  • Operational discipline — you track your work, keep your ATS clean, and can walk anyone through your pipeline at any moment without scrambling
  • Communication range — from a quick Teams nudge to a polished leadership update, you match the message to the moment without losing clarity with a client-first mindset
  • Comfort with ambiguity — specialty roles don't come with a playbook every time. You're energized (not frustrated) by searches that require you to figure it out as you go

How you’ll grow:

  • Cross-functional skills development & custom learning pathways
  • Milestone training programs aligned to career progression opportunities
  • Internal mobility paths that empower growth via s-curves, individual contribution and role expansions
