About the Role
Common Data Environment (CDE) Administrator - UK Wide considered (some occasional travel to Warwick - hybrid working)
Strategic Infrastructure (SI) are setting up a CDE which requires someone to support implementation and standardisation throughout its lifecycle.
As SI continues to grow and evolve, it is critical that we manage our information effectively. Managing information effectively and sensitively will be critical in helping ensure resources are managed to responsibly.
The main purpose of the CDE Administrator role is to ensure that information, document and records management is run effectively by, and positively supports SI enterprise.
The CDE Administrator role will ensure the following information is readily accessible, considered trustworthy and logged for future record to maximise efficiency and avoid duplication of effort:
- All existing information capital delivery project information;
- All existing Programme information; and
- All programme, project and design information generated from now on.
What you'll be getting up to
- Develop a Parliamentary Common Data Environment (CDE) strategy based on effective data governance.
- Develop CDE implementation and migration plans as required, incorporating people, process, technology and security activities.
- Implement and manage the CDE for projects including setting up user accounts.
- Develop CDE guidance, training materials, and templates in close cooperation with SI and ID&D teams.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge and experience in the UK on CDE best practice.
- Contribute to the targets for BIM implementation across the Parliamentary estate.
- Manage CDE document control and transmittal processes.
About You
- Experience of Managing a CDE
- Experience in BIM processes, with proven record in deploying / managing CDE to PAS1192 and ISO19650, including knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems along with experience of Aconex.
- Able to define requirements for a CDE platform that can support the EIM concept and connect to SharePoint to provide an integrated CDE solution.
- Competency with model authoring (Revit), CAD (AutoCAD), model review (Navisworks and Solibri), Microsoft Office and web-enabled software.
