National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK. We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.

Our growing IT Team has a fabulous new opportunity for an IT Operations Security Lead to join us, to provide technical analysis and 24x7 system management / administration expertise in a high availability mission critical ITIL environment.

You will perform proactive maintenance, monitoring, and auditing of Infrastructure Estate, using change, problem, release management toolset.

You’ll liaise with 3rd Party Vendors as required, as well as Security and Compliance colleagues to ensure standards and policies are applied across the estate.

This is a hybrid role based between Home and our Warwick HQ, and the closing date for applications is 22nd July 2024.

About You

• Proven commercial IT experience, supporting mission critical production environments in an on-premise setting
• Appreciation of ITIL methodologies
• IT Industry recognised technical training
• Security and Cloud experience or qualification
• Operational/Service Architecture
