Recruitment Sourcing Specialist - 12 Months FTC

We are seeking for a passionate Recruitment Sourcing Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our People Function team. In this role, you will work closely with our Recruitment Partners, utilizing innovative sourcing strategies and methodologies to identify and engage with the best diverse talent in the market. Your focus will be on delivering an outstanding candidate experience and building a strong talent pipeline to meet National Grid’s current and future recruitment needs. As a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist, you will support our UK and US recruitment efforts and be an integral part of our global recruitment team.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
What You'll Do
- Develop & execute a sourcing plan of action to meet immediate client hiring requirements.
- Create innovative sourcing strategies making use of forums, online networks, and internet interrogation.
- Identify passive candidates using online tools/networks/technologies.
- Create talent communities via LinkedIn and engage them with regular and relevant communications.
- Balance deadlines and deliverables for multiple searches at a time.
- Maintain data quality and accuracy within the company’s internal database.
- Conduct ongoing candidate pipeline development activities and talent network expansion for active and future requisitions.
- Market mapping, business intelligence.
- Remain curious about emerging sourcing technologies and methods to help us on our journey to best in class.
What You'll Have
- A Relevant Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a sourcer, recruiter, or related role.
- Proven track record of recruiting for a variety of positions and levels.
- A high degree of customer focus and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Curious and creative approaches to engaging talent.
- Strong drive for results and a commitment to producing a high level of work efficiently and often within tight time frames.
- Excellent verbal and creative written communication skills.
- Strong presence and experience amplifying employer brand and jobs on social media. (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter) etc).
- Ability to adapt to new processes and effectively deal with change and ambiguity.
- Excellent candidate management skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
