As a Finance Business Partner – Interconnectors Revenue, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight and decision making across Interconnector projects. You’ll provide clear financial leadership, driving effective cost control, performance management and robust governance throughout the full project lifecycle. Working closely with project, programme and cross functional teams, you’ll deliver high quality, decision focused reporting, forecasting and risk and opportunity analysis, while building strong stakeholder relationships and a deep understanding of project scope, delivery plans and cost drivers. Through proactive budget oversight and continuous improvement of financial reporting and control processes, you’ll ensure financial considerations are fully embedded in both strategic and operational decisions.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Provide financial oversight and insight to programme and operational teams, supporting cost management, budgeting and forecasting.
- Delivering accurate, timely and decision focused reporting, including forecasting, variance analysis and risk and opportunity assessment, to support wider business reporting and strategic planning.
- Lead and coordinate project forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions, understanding project scope, delivery plans and ensuring forecasts reflect latest business activity and risk.
- Work closely with business units and delivery teams to understand underlying activity, enabling meaningful variance analysis and robust financial commentary.
- Identify, manage and report risks and opportunities, maintaining an up to date view of performance and ensuring transparency for senior stakeholders.
- Support evaluation of the financial implications of project and commercial decisions, providing insight to inform trade offs, prioritisation and investment choices.
- Provide financial input into commercial and contractual matters, supporting the business in understanding cost, value and risk exposure.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project financial management processes, reporting frameworks and governance arrangements.
- Support wider Interconnectors business activities across Commercial, Customer, Regulation and Operations, ensuring consistent financial insight and alignment with portfolio objectives
What You’ll Have:
- A Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), with strong experience across financial reporting, planning, forecasting and risk management, and the confidence to both support and challenge the business in line with strategic priorities.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, compelling insight for a wide range of financial and non financial stakeholders.
- Proven Finance Business Partner experience, building trusted, collaborative relationships and delivering meaningful financial insight that drives better decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build and leverage strong internal networks.
- A proactive mindset focused on driving performance improvement and continuous value creation.
- Experience in project accounting and/or business partnering roles within complex environments.
- The ability to lead performance through clear accountability and ownership.
- A solid grounding in technical accounting, with the credibility to operate as a trusted finance expert.

What You'll Get:
Up to £77,000 dependent on experience.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 15% (with a maximum of 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
