As Corporate Property Communications Business Partner, you will lead the planning and delivery of communications that support the Corporate Property Team’s strategic objectives, raising its profile and strengthening engagement across the organisation and with external stakeholders. You will deliver effective communications for property programmes and projects, support change and colleague engagement, and manage business as usual, crisis and incident communications. The role also ensures consistent use of corporate branding and tone of voice, while proactively managing stakeholder engagement and promoting Corporate Property services.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a long-term communications strategy for the Corporate Property Team.
- Develop and implement short-term communications plans for the team’s BAU activities, major property projects and workplace change programmes.
- Build effective working relationships with key teams across the business: Corporate Affairs, Colleague Communications and Engagement.
- Co-ordination with internal stakeholders including our Business Units, Functions and other Electricity Transmissions (ET) / Electricity Distribution (ED) Property colleagues.
- Content creation for internal channels, including Grid: home, Viva engage, MS Teams etc.,
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and continuously improve processes.
- Deliver training and advice on corporate branding and ‘tone of voice’ to the team and our delivery partners.
- Support the broader Enterprise Business Services (EBS) communication strategy.
- Assist the EBS Executive Advisor with communication and planning events calendar ensuring it is aligned to the wider CFO function calendar and Group events.
What You’ll Have:
- Experienced in how to align communications with broader business objectives and mapping out campaigns for change management.
- Internal Communications: Understanding of employee engagement company cul-ture, and how to communicate organisational vision and values.
- Data Analysis & Literacy: Capability to interpret insights from employee engagement surveys, to refine strategies.
- Crisis Management: Understanding how to react quickly and appropriately to protect brand reputation.
- Empathy: The ability to understand the audience's perspective and craft messages that resonate on a human level.
- Adaptability: The skill to adjust communication styles to different audiences and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and trends.
- Curiosity & Learning Mindset: A willingness to learn about new subjects.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in proofreading and ensuring brand consistency.
- Resilience & Calmness: Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

What You'll Get:
£60,000–£74,000, dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 15% (with a maximum of 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
